US Media Whitewashed A School Shooter Because…

The USA is definitely an amusing nation, as some of the incidents coming forward are no less than comic and disappointing. Keeping that aside, it takes away a lot of credibility for the sense of equality and justice, given the activities of the media for actions like these.

The USA observes shootings more frequently than rain, but one such incident is drawing global attention as the media defends one such mass shooter. There was an incident in Perry High School in Iowa as the accused took the life of a sixth-grader student and injured some others.

The name of the shooter is Dylan Butler and has been an LGBTQ activist, giving a reason for the ‘woke’ US media to defend the shooter. The shooter was 17 years old and identified as a trans non-binary, but it raises a question: can sexuality be used as a shield for such incidents?

After the incident took place, one US outlet posted a headline – “He got tired of the bullying,’ classmates say of the shooter,” defending the criminal by justifying that bullying made him commit the crime, which is basically as absurd as it can be.

Now, the injustice towards LGBTQ should obviously be questioned, but the oppression or depression doesn’t make any of this action justified, and that has to be understood by the media outlets.
