Akshay Kumar’s Wheel of Fortune continues to attract a steady number of viewers every week. In a recent episode, filmmaker Sajid Khan and actor Riteish Deshmukh appeared as special guests on the show.
The episode gained attention as Akshay Kumar appeared to support Sajid Khan’s return to the spotlight. Sajid Khan had stayed away from mainstream appearances after controversies linked to the #MeToo movement in the industry.
During the show, Sajid Khan appeared in a wheelchair after fracturing his foot while shooting for an Ekta Kapoor film in Mumbai. The episode marked one of his first on camera appearances in recent times.
Viewers noticed a conversation between the trio when Sajid Khan recalled an incident from the shooting days of Heyy Babyy. The interaction was presented in a light and humorous manner.
Some social media users felt Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh were encouraging Sajid Khan’s return to mainstream entertainment. The discussion quickly became a talking point online.
After a long break from the industry, Sajid Khan earlier appeared on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss. Since then, he has been seen attending events with several film personalities.
Audience reactions remain divided about his return to television. While some viewers support the comeback, others continue to question his presence in mainstream platforms.
For now, it remains uncertain whether Sajid Khan will regain the level of success he experienced earlier in his career.
