All-time Blockbuster Film Gets OTT Release Date?

The new industry hit of Malayalam cinema and one of those rare films that get equally good critical acclaim and box office accreditation, Manjummel Boys has sealed its tentative OTT release plan, and here is a look into the same.

As per the latest updates, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Manjummel Boys are with Disney+ Hotstar.

The film is set to be made available for streaming in major Indian languages on Dsieny+ Hotstar from the 3rd of May, according to reports. An official communication on the same is awaited for the time being.

Disney+ Hotstar is usually aggressive when it comes to acquiring Malayalam films and they are back at it with Manjummel Boys now which stands as the all-time biggest hit in Malayalam cinema. It is the first Mallu film to clock over Rs 200 crore at the box office.

Manjummel Boys is tipped to be a winning survival thriller with commercial high points here and there. Will it be able to replicate its theatrical success on the OTT space? We shall wait and see.
