Director Rajkumar Periyasamy’s Amaran, which was released in theatres on October 31, is now streaming on Netflix.
The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role and is inspired by the chapter on Major Mukund Varadarajan. Since its release, fans have been praising the performances of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.
The OTT audience, as expected, seems to have completely fallen in love with this inspirational story. The patriotism, coupled with very real and relatable characters and a lot of emotional appeal, has struck a chord with the viewers.
What’s shocking is that the Hindi audience is also praising Amaran, especially Sai Pallavi’s performance, to great heights.
A few weeks ago, there was a lot of negativity surrounding Sai Pallavi from the Hindi side due to some of her past comments regarding the Indian Army and Hindu terrorism. They even called for a boycott of Amaran and tried to pull down Sai Pallavi.
But now, the same people, after watching the film on Netflix, can’t stop singing praises of Sai Pallavi. The audience who dissed her is now calling her one of the best actresses of this generation. They are also now assured that she is the perfect choice to play Goddess Sita in the upcoming film Ramayana.
Sai Pallavi has shut down her haters in her own inimitable style.
