Calls Mount for Banning Pakistani Shows On OTT!

After the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, there have been various reactions on social media. One of them is the call for banning the Pakistani artists and contents from every Indian medium and platform.

Fawad Khan’s much awaited movie ‘Abir Gulaal’ has been stalled for this reason. And people are calling for a ban on platforms that stream Pakistani Shows as well. While that is a little far-fetched, there can very well be a ban on shows and movies from Pakistan.

Zee5, for example, streams some of the very popular Pakistani shows. There is “Churails’, and ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ streaming on Zee5.

‘Mantostaan’ is streaming on Jio Hotstar, there are also movies like ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani’ streaming on various platforms.

It has taken a long time for fans to bring these movies and shows to Indian shows and we have seen there is huge hype for shows like Barzakh in India as well. But there is a very prominent demand for the ban of these shows and it is probable that some action might be taken towards it.

There are some people from the film and entertainment industry who are urging people to keep art and terrorism apart and not be too harsh with their decisions, but the passion of the moment can take it too far now.
