Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorii premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021 and was highly praised for its overall execution and horror elements.
The film was the remake of Marathi film Lapachhapi showcasing Nushrratt Bharuccha as a mother battling against supernatural forces mixing a blend of Indian folktales.
The makers have revealed the trailer of the film’s sequel titled Chhorii 2 showcasing an edgier side of the supernatural horrors.
The sequel displays the addition of Soha Ali Khan joining forces with Nushrratt Bharuccha in battling against numerous forces.
Directed by Vishal Furia, the film also has several supporting actors including Saurabh Goya, Pallavi Patil, Jitendra Kumar, and Kuldeep Sareen.
After having a decent digital release in 2021, the Chhorii Universe returns on Prime Video on April 11. Only time will tell how the film will turn out to be.
