Dabba Cartel on Netflix: Some Relief for Suriya?

The Hindi web series Dabba Cartel, starring Jyothika, Shabana Azmi, and Anjali Anand in the lead roles, directed by Hitesh Bhatia, is now streaming on Netflix.

During the release of Suriya’s Kanguva, Suriya faced heavy trolling for his acting performance in the movie. This frustrated Jyothika, who shared a note on her Instagram account, triggering netizens. As a result, the couple was trashed on social media for a long time, becoming meme templates.

Now, Dabba Cartel has been released on Netflix, and early reviews suggest that the web series is average. Even though the core concept is good, the flat screenplay causes the series to dip in many places.

However, these are just early reviews, and views are now picking up. We have to wait and see how the OTT audience receives it and whether it turns into a blockbuster success.

After the severe criticism during Kanguva, Jyothika’s first release is Dabba Cartel. Let’s see whether the success of this web series becomes a relief for the couple.
