Dr Watson Can Be Back With a Series

The questions might arise about his individuality through the literary works, but that might not be a question anymore. Reports state that an upcoming series might just discover the personal side of Watson, not just as Sherlock’s assistant and mouthpiece.

In the books, with the story “The Final Problem,” Sherlock was put to rest by Arthur Conan Doyle as Sherlock and Moriarty fought till death. The series takes over from this very moment as Dr. Watson tries to survive alone.

For all the hardcore Sherlock fans, it will definitely be a new and exciting adventure to discover what Dr. Watson really is through the new series.

Morris Chestnut will reportedly play the role of Dr. Watson. The rest of the cast is still unknown, and there are no speculations about some flashback scenes with Sherlock as well. There are also some questions about whether the fans will see Watson solving cases.

But mostly, as the reports and rumors state, it will be a medical drama focusing on the post-Sherlock era of Dr. Watson’s life. He will not only cope with the death but also try to deal with his medical career.
