Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon and Dhanush’s third directorial venture, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), starring debut actor Pavish in the lead, clashed in theatres on February 21, and Dragon won the clash by a huge margin.
After the theatrical clash, both movies are now set for an OTT clash, as NEEK is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime Video on March 21, while Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon is also releasing on the same day on Netflix.
Following Dragon’s blockbuster success in theatres, audiences from other languages are eagerly waiting for its OTT release.
In contrast, NEEK has no expectations among viewers, as it received mixed responses during its theatrical run, and many people weren’t even aware of its release.
Dragon will be available on Netflix in five languages — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam — from March 21.
However, it remains to be seen whether NEEK will put up a good fight against Dragon in the OTT clash or if Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon will once again crush NEEK on March 21.
