It has now created a new record on OTT with 11.7 million views and remains on top of other titles available on the streaming platform.
Coming to the records of the second week, it has recorded 6.6 million views and grabbed the second position among the top 10 non-English films trending around the world on Netflix.
The numbers have additionally surpassed the ones recorded by Kalki 2898 AD since Lucky Baskhar registered almost 5.1 million views in the first week. It has taken over Jr. NTR’s Devara, which has recorded 8.6 million views.
However, the film is yet to break the record made by Maharaja with 19.7 million views. The other positions have been taken by titles such as Indian 2 and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.
With Lucky Baskhar, Dulquer Salmaan proved that he is trying not to choose anything that would affect his stardom.
The actor has already created a huge fanbase among the North Indian audience, specifically with Sita Ramam.
While he is yet to establish himself properly in the Pan India segment, he has a Tamil film, Kaantha in the upcoming lineup. This will be followed by the Telugu drama, Aakasam Lo Oka Tara.
