Director Neeraj Pandey is once again set to return to the OTT world, this time with a Netflix global thriller series featuring Emraan Hashmi and Zoya Afroz in lead roles.
This series will mark Neeraj’s first-ever collaboration with Emraan, and the 2nd with Zoya Afroz after ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’.
The show is expected to be made in trademark Neeraj style, with production spanning across multiple countries.
While Neeraj Pandey is best known for his cult films like ‘A Wednesday!’ and ‘Special 26’, the director has been struggling with flops for the past few years.
His web series ‘Special Ops’ with Kay Kay Menon was deemed okay, while the others turned out either average or complete disasters.
His Netflix thriller film ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’ turned out to be very average, while ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ was a complete disaster with negative reviews and a lifetime collection of less than Rs.10 crores despite having a big star like Ajay Devgn.
With his upcoming web series being termed as ‘The Biggest Show of 2025’, social media has been filled with comments from the public.
One user said, “Hoping Neeraj Pandey returns to form with this new project. The cast looks promising!”
Another commented, “After the disappointment of ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,’ I’m cautious but willing to give this a chance.”
With other details regarding the series being kept hidden, people are hoping that Neeraj Pandey overcomes this phase and returns as the great director he is known to be.
