After acquiring the Roald Dahl Story Company in 2021, Netflix plans to launch a reality competition series based on the novel. Based on the Willy Wonka myth, the series will star Timothée Chalamet, who made over $8 million for the film “Wonka.”
Chalamet is expected to get paid more following his box office success and is currently vying for double-digit wages for prominent parts in studio films. Warner Brothers. Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, co-chairs of Motion Picture Group, are overjoyed that Chalamet has decided to call Warner Bros. his creative home. They will be the first to support any prospective endeavours that he has.
