There is a new feature on Jio Hotstar that looks very innovative. If a match is going on, and you are watching some other movie or series on the platform, you can still know the score of the match in the top corner of the screen.
It makes it easier for people who do not want to go through the whole match but are still interested about the current score. They will not have to stop whatever they are watching and go check with the match.
It is a great feature and people are appreciating the thoughtfulness of Jio Hotstar. This indeed is a great first step from the platform towards a very interesting future in OTT rivalry.
Other sports streamers will have to go to great lengths to match with this feature. And if Jio Hotstar manages to control its ads, it will gain more credibility from users.
