Despite this dominance, the platform is now encouraging users to interact directly with its interface. Viewers are expected to describe moods and preferences for content discovery.
This shift is being presented as convenience. However, it also raises concerns about excessive data dependence. As systems become more intelligent, they rely heavily on behavioural patterns and predictions. Content discovery risks becoming engineered rather than organic, reducing the joy of unexpected finds.
