The name of the show is ‘Kanneda’, a term for the nation of Canada often popularly used by the Punjabi diaspora.
Following the life of Nimma (Parmish Verma), Kanneda explores his struggles to settle abroad in a foreign and alienated land. It portrays his dive into the deep world of crime, trying to establish a dominant ‘desi underworld’ in the North American nation.
The show is set to make its OTT debut on March 21st, 2025, with JioHotstar being the platform hosting it.
