The Test movie, starring Siddharth, Nayanthara, and Madhavan and directed by S. Sashikanth, is slated for a direct OTT release on Netflix on April 4th.
Recently, The Test team released the trailer, and many people, after watching it, have shared mixed responses.
The trailer felt artificial, with dubbing issues, and Nayanthara’s acting performance was not up to the mark.
The trailer clearly indicates that The Test is a cringeworthy movie, which is why the team has decided to release it directly on Netflix instead of in theatres, say Kollywood audiences.
The trailer felt flat and outdated. Still, with only a few days left for the release, there isn’t any hype for the movie among audiences. Despite having a top South Indian actor, The Test team has failed to generate buzz, say critics.
However, it remains to be seen whether The Test becomes a success and helps Nayanthara and Siddharth make a comeback in their acting careers.
