The Malayalam superhit film ‘Marco’ is going to premiere on OTT soon. It will be coming out on SonyLIV on the 14th of February.
Marco will be available to watch in three other languages except Malayalam: Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. But there is still no news of a Hindi dub.
Marco did good business in the Hindi belt too and inspite of having no hype before release, it had managed to earn good word of mouth. But now that Hindi audiences are intrigued to watch the movie, they do not get a dub for it.
There is a huge fan base for South Indian films in the northern part of the country and they are crazy for action movies. The Malayalam industry is known for content driven films and not many action films come out from there.
So Marco has interested many people and they want to find out why it is being called the most violent film from India.
Malayalam movies not getting dubbed in Hindi is not a new problem but has been going on for quite a long time and only a few platforms like Netflix has usually provided dubs for the titles. So people are urging Netflix or Disney+Hotstar too to release a Hindi version of Marco now.
