Users demand that Netflix should have an inbuilt filter that will edit out all the foul language and sexual or gory scenes to make it suitable for the family to watch. They have also said that artificial intelligence can be used for this purpose.
But despite many demands, Netflix has not acted upon them and neither has any other platform. So OTT viewers have come up with some other solution.
They say that there are some third party applications and browser extensions like ‘enjoy movies your way’ that can help one to customize the OTT experience and edit out the unnecessary scenes.
This might be of great help for Indian viewers who want to enjoy OTT content with families. And if the platforms do not come up with some solutions soon, this will indeed be a popular way to browse Indian OTT.
