Netflix and Dharma Productions are set to release their upcoming thriller Accused on February 27, 2026. The film promises an intense narrative designed to keep viewers engaged. Early promotional material suggests a gripping and emotionally charged storyline.
A first glimpse of Accused reveals Konkona Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta as doctors who are married to each other. The couple plans to adopt a baby. However, their lives change when one of them faces serious allegations of sexual misconduct at the hospital.
As the accused doctor attempts to clear her name, the controversy begins to strain her personal life. Trust issues slowly creep into the marriage. Even close associates begin to question her innocence, raising doubts about what really happened.
The central conflict revolves around whether she is truly guilty or trapped in a larger conspiracy. The narrative blends suspense with emotional drama. It also explores same sex relationships in the backdrop of damaging accusations.
Curiosity about the final reveal is likely to draw audiences. Viewers may stay invested to discover whether the lead character is innocent. If proven not guilty, the identity of the real culprit could become the biggest twist.
The story unfolds in an international setting, adding another layer of tension. Legal and social consequences in such countries are often strict in such cases. With only days left for release, expectations are high for Accused to boost Netflix viewership.
