The Mindy Kaling-produced short film revolves around nine-year-old Anuja, portrayed by Sajda Pathan. It showcases how she is left with a life-changing choice that ultimately decides the future of her family.
Directed by Adam J. Graves, it also names Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Anita Bhatia as executive producers. While critics have already praised the film for its overall execution, and it earned a spot at the Oscars, it remains to be seen how it will be perceived by audiences worldwide on Netflix.
