OTT: Two Good Options For South Audience

The South Indian OTT space has been eagerly awaiting a well-rounded winner that caters to the majority of the OTT folk.

Well, Netflix’s latest outing, The Hunt for Veerappan appears to have ticked this box already as it has opened to largely positive reviews and good reception from the audience alike.

“The four-part series will explore the untold and unheard stories behind the dreaded Indian bandit turned domestic terrorist Veerappan.” The plot reads for this series. This series has received a thumbs up from the viewers.

Then comes Por Tozhil which is a Tamil language thriller drama. This is tipped to be one of the best thriller dramas from South Indian cinema in the recent past and it is headed for its OTT release now.

The film will be made available for streaming on Sony Liv from the 11th of this month. There is a fair bit of anticipation on this film which is a billed to be a tailor-made outing for the OTT audience.

Lastly, there is Hidimbha which is also a thriller and it has a peculiar plot. It has to be seen if this film can find patronage in the OTT circuit which is often more receptive to new-age thrillers. This film will stream on Aha from 10 August.
