Malayalam crime thriller Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar has run into a technical issue following its Netflix release. Many viewers have reported problems with subtitle synchronisation. Popular film critic and YouTuber Yogesh Rokde, known for his Yogi Bolta Hai channel, tagged Netflix India on X, and drew attention to the issue.
Sharing a clip from the Parvathy Thiruvothu starrer, Yogesh wrote, “Hey @NetflixIndia @netflix This is the problem…solve it…” and added the hashtag #PradhamaDrishtyaKuttakkar.
The complaint comes as the investigative thriller began streaming on Netflix on October 9. Viewers also took to Reddit to report subtitle synchronisation problems while watching the film. One discussion about the release included users confirming that they were experiencing the same issue. Another comment suggested that Netflix had subsequently fixed the English subtitle problem.
The subtitle lag appears to have affected the viewing experience for some subscribers trying to watch the Malayalam thriller on the platform. Directed by Shahad Nilambur, Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar stars Parvathy Thiruvothu alongside Mathew Thomas and Vijayaraghavan. The film follows a police officer caught in a complicated cover-up after an accidental death.
With viewers flagging the issue online, it is yet to be confirmed whether the technical issues are resolved.
