This time the story attempts to widen its scope with a bigger crime and a darker setting. The visuals hint at heavier themes shaped by fear and belief. Viewers are now keen to see whether this chapter can match the impact of the first film.

The trailer shows a wealthy Kanpur family being killed inside their mansion in one night. The entire space feels tense and closed in. Instead of one crime, Inspector Jatil faces a brutal mass murder where every survivor appears suspicious.

Chitrangda Singh plays Meera Bansal, the lone survivor shown clearly so far. Her body language and words raise more questions than answers. A spiritual leader also enters the story, adding a layer of mystery tied to ritual and belief.

The mansion is filmed like a puzzle filled with shadows. Scenes of rituals mix with detailed investigation sequences. Director Honey Trehan appears to balance eerie visuals with firm procedural storytelling which gave the first film its edge.
