Despite hitting theatres alongside big films like Mr Bachchan and Double iSmart, Aay turned out to be a successful venture at the box office among Independence Day releases.
Directed by Anji Babu, Aay is a comedy-drama that is set in the Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh. After a good theatrical run, this movie has now locked its OTT release.
Aay will premiere on OTT platform Netflix on September 12. Netflix officially announced the news on its social media handles. Aay will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
Aay features Jr NTR’s brother-in-law Narne Nithin in the lead role. Nayan Sarika played the female lead in it while Rajkumar Kasireddy, Krishna Chaitanya and Ankith Koyya played the other important roles.
Bunny Vaas bankrolled the project under GA2 Pictures. Allu Aravind was the presenter of the movie and Ram Miriyala composed the music for it.
