Keerthy Suresh’s Double Trolling? After Theaters, Now OTT

Keerthy Suresh’s dark comedy film Revolver Rita directed by JK Chandru released in theaters on 28 November. It received mixed reviews from audience members and critics during its theatrical run.

Because of the mixed response, Revolver Rita ended its theatrical journey with a disastrous outcome. After this below average performance, the film started streaming on the Netflix OTT platform today.

Viewers who watched the film on OTT have started sharing their reactions on social media. Many feel that Revolver Rita is one of the weakest Kollywood films of the year. They are advising Keerthy Suresh to focus on stronger scripts.

Some viewers also criticised Redin Kingsley’s performance. They claim he repeats similar roles in every film and that his jokes become irritating after a while.

There were expectations that Revolver Rita would work better on OTT. Dark comedy films usually perform well on streaming platforms. However, the film is disappointing OTT users too, and trolls say it is only dark with no comedy.

Overall, Revolver Rita is facing an underwhelming response on OTT as well. It remains to be seen if it can improve its performance in the coming days.
