No OTT Before Release, 2 OTTs After Release

Ravi Teja’s latest theatrical outing Eagle has wrapped up the theatrical run and is headed for its OTT release sooner than later.

Incidentally, this film had no OTT release in place before the release. It released in theaters with no existing OTT partner which is a rarity these days, particularly for a relatively bigger budgeted film like Eagle.

However, cut to now, Eagle has not one but two OTT partners with one being ETV Win and the other being Amazon Prime Video.

Needless to say, Eagle will be the cornerstone film for ETV Win as this is their biggest acquisition till date. The OTT release date will be announced soon.

As for Amazon Prime, the OTT player isn’t particularly big on dual OTT deals. But in the case of Eagle, they are operating as the second OTT partner of the Ravi Teja starrer.

Eagle is a slick actioner directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and it has Ravi Teja in the lead role. It has to be seen if the actioner can have a good run on OTT after the sedated theatrical run.
