Sequel To Blockbuster Scam 1992; Scam 2003 Is Here!

In 2020, amidst the plethora of Indian web series filled with crime and gangster shows, there emerged “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story,” a show directed by Hansal Mehta that shook the nation with its captivating storytelling and powerful performances by Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwantri.

Now, after three years, Hansal Mehta is back with another show titled “Scam 2003: The Telgi Story,” based on a much bigger financial scam that occurred in the year 2003, orchestrated by Abdul Karim Telgi.

Just like last time, the show aims to follow the same beats but with a much-refined lens, given that the scam involved a staggering thirty thousand crores. The teaser for the new show incorporates the same iconic Scam theme that became a sensation in 2020 when the previous series was released.

“Scam 2003: The Telgi Story” features Gagan Dev Riar and Aniruddh Roy in lead roles, and it is based on journalist Sanjay Singh’s book “Reporter ki Diary.” The show is produced by Applause Entertainment and is set to start streaming from 2nd September.
