SonyLIV is going through a tough phase right now and fans do not seem to be very satisfied with the platform’s service. And they seem to be very satisfied with shows being shifted to other platforms from SonyLIV.
There were many subscribers who were only on the platform to see shows like WWE and CID. But for some reason, CID too is streaming on Netflix now. WWE is already going to Netflix and there are no reasons for the users to stay on SonyLIV anymore.
Netflix provides a much more smooth and easy OTT experience than SonyLIV and there is not the burden of advertisements as well. The biggest complaint that users had for SonyLIV was its advertisement policy. Even in important matches of WWE there were two or three ads every twenty minutes.
Now that every other popular show is going away from the platform, SonyLIV will have to work a lot to keep up the competition and keep the users bound to them. The first thing they will have to do is check their advertisements.
