The Telugu OTT space has been running high and dry of late, but now, it has finally been bolstered by a set of new outings. Incidentally, three new Telugu theatrical titles have arrived on OTT in 1 day.
Mr Bachchan which had a failed theatrical run has now made its debut on Neflix. The film is streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. While the film failed in theaters, can it fare any better on OTT?
Then we have Aay, a youthful comedy with Narne Nithin, the brother in law of Jr NTR in the lead role. This village comedy is also streaming on Netflix in South Indian languages.
Lastly, there is Committee Kurrollu which is streaming on now buzzing ETV Win. This film is streaming only in Telugu language. It has several new faces in the lead roles.
Of the three films, Aay and Committee Kurrollu are the two smaller ones that opened to a better reception. They might cater to the younger generation of the OTT audience and make for a casual viewing.
