Telugu OTT: Finally, Two Notable Options

After the early zest in the OTT space earlier this year with the arrival of Animal, Salaar, and Guntur Kaaram, the OTT space has been running high and dry of late. But cut to now, there are finally a couple of notable options.

The two said films Tillu Square and Family Star have premiered on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video respectively today. There’s Gopciahnd’s Bhimaa as well on Disney+ Hotstar.

Tillu Square is a proper comedy entertainer that can make for a fun family viewing on OTT. The Siddhu starrer offers a comical viewing experience to the audience, much like the first part which was a big hit on OTT.

Then we have Family Star, a commercial potboiler. This film could be watched by the Telugu OTT audience as it marks the coming together of the Geetha Govindam duo. We need to wait for a couple of days to see wha kind of reception it gets from the Telugu OTT crowd.

Bhimaa, as expected has opened poorly in the OTT space with its cringe content.
