The hike at the platform skyrocketed during the tournament seasons and the viewership brought significant gains to the platform. But Disney+ Hotstar has faced a lot of concerns because of this rampant capitalisation of the sport, which is in one way cutting the branch they were sitting on! The ads in the recent past have become so pivotal to the running of matches that fans have shown their anger. It seems like the sport is being turned to fit into the ads, the case should be otherwise. Ads are only a part of the broadcasting and aid the platform to make money in between. But when the entire focus shifts on making money the quality of streaming suffers.

The unsatisfactory viewer experience will become the main reason why Disney+ Hotstar and ICC may lose their ongoing partnership.
