Prime’s Greed Exposed: Users Furious Over Rentals!

Amazon Prime Video has been blamed time and again for their rental policy that does not make any sense. However commendable the collection of licensed titles be, audiences are furious with having to pay extra money to rent them.

Now Varun Dhawan’s latest movie ‘Baby John’ is made available to rent and that too at a whopping 249 rupees. It makes little sense because you can rent it only for a limited period of time and it is going to be streaming on Prime Video itself soon enough.

There are some fans who might be highly interested in watching Baby John and other such movies that are being rented. And waiting for them to come out on OTT is very frustrating too. What is more frustrating is to pay this much money for every rental.

Subscribers who have an annual membership are not very happy to have to pay for these rentals. And their complaints are very justifiable too.

The movies are going to be streaming regularly soon enough, but the platform decides to cash in more money by renting them a few days before like a pre-release ritual.

Subscribers are not pleased with these decisions and if Prime Video does not start rethinking these policies, there will be very negative consequences soon.
