Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, which was released on October 10th in theatres, has acquired mixed responses from both critics and audiences.
Even though this movie had stars from different industries, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Vettaiyan failed to acquire positive responses from the audience due to its poor screenplay.
Vettaiyan was made with a budget of around 300 crores, but till now Vettaiyan has collected around only 246 crores worldwide. The previous movie of Rajinikanth, Jailer, has collected more than 604 crores.
Compared to the budget and the theatrical collection, Vettaiyan ended up as a disaster in its theatrical run. In this scenario, now, as per reports, the Vettaiyan movie is planned to be streamed on the Amazon Prime OTT platform from November 7th.
Also, the Vettaiyan movie is going to be released in 5 languages, which are Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada in OTT. Audiences who haven’t watched this movie in theatres can watch it on OTT from November 7th.
