Vishwanath & Sons is now streaming on Netflix, and the first thing being noticed is the poor picture quality. In parts of the film, the visuals have a clear white cast and look washed out.
The problem is with the Netflix print, with some scenes looking dull compared to the theatrical version. The reason for the change in quality is not known yet.
Vishwanath & Sons, starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, released in theatres on August 14 and crossed RS 260 crore worldwide. The film began streaming on Netflix on September 11 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
For a film that crossed RS 260 crore in theatres, this is a strange issue to have with the OTT release. Those watching it on Netflix are getting a visibly different picture in some portions.
Hopefully, the quality issue is sorted out soon.
