SonyLIV has seen a lot of heat from users in the past few days and due to various reasons. Showing ads between important WWE matches is obviously one. But now people think the pricing of the platform is insane too.
Most of the content from SonyLIV is going away to other platforms. CID, Crime Patrol and WWE are now streaming on Netflix and people are happy that they do not have to come to SonyLIV for WWE anymore.
People think that as SonyLIV is struggling with its content, it should at least lessen its prices. There are premium plans of upto 1499 rupees but again, there will be ads too.
Fans do not think it necessary to see ads even after buying a 1499 rs subscription. SonyLIV does not have a very attractive list of content right now and if it has to attract audiences it should at least do it with a good affordable price.
This cost will only repel the users away. A yearly fees of 1499 does not seem very credible for a small platform like SonyLIV and it should start thinking about making another price list soon.
