Warrant: Too Many Investigation Thrillers Ruining Tamil OTT?

The Kollywood web series Warrant, starring Prasanth Pandiyaraj and Kaali Venkat, and directed by Vignesh Natarajan, started streaming on the Zee5 platform on May 22. The show opened with strong expectations among viewers due to its positioning and early promotions.

Interest increased further as Prasanth Pandiyaraj, known for directing the hit web series Vilangu, played the lead role in Warrant. The series was also promoted as part of the Vilangu universe, which added curiosity and raised audience expectations significantly.

However, Warrant has received a mixed response after release. Some viewers praised the series for its fresh narrative and multiple twists. Others felt the overall execution did not match the initial hype built around the project.
