Another weekend is here, so let’s take a look at the must-watch titles streaming on OTT. When it comes to OTT, there are must-watch to good titles in the “can’t-be-missed” category.
First, we have The Mehta Boys, streaming on Amazon Prime Video in multiple languages. Directed by Boman Irani, the film won the Best Film Award at film festivals. It’s a neat, heartwarming watch for the entire family. Kid-friendly and emotional, this is definitely the top pick for the week.
In the Telugu category, we have Game Changer, which was obviously a disaster in theaters. However, with a big star like Ram Charan, the film has some attention and is currently streaming on Prime Video. Meanwhile, Hotstar has another disaster—Ashok Galla’s Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. For those who don’t mind watching disasters on OTT, they can probably give it a try.
In the Hindi category, we have Miss MRS., a remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen. It is getting decent feedback from OTT viewers who haven’t seen the original. However, for those looking for something truly decent, Medical Dreams on YouTube is a good choice. With only two episodes out so far, this heartwarming drama falls into the “decent watch” category.
On Netflix, cricket fans can check out The Greatest Rivalry: India vs. Pakistan, a well-made cricket documentary.
This sums up the known titles worth checking out on OTT this weekend.
In the foreign titles category, there are a couple of decent options. The Åre Murders, a Swedish investigative drama about a young woman’s mysterious disappearance and death, is streaming on Netflix. If you’re looking for something outside Indian languages, this could be worth a try.
