Aamir Getting Hate from All Sides: Justified or Unfair?

On social media Aamir Khan is a polarising figure. Many see him as someone whose actions don’t match his words. For example, he talks about time management and says awards are worthless but he himself is late on sets and wants to send his films to Oscars.

This contradiction fuels the narrative that Aamir’s “Mr. Perfectionist” image is self-created rather than earned. People point out his selective approach to roles and genres, he once dismissed commercial cinema and then later in his career embraced it.

He is open about his personal life, his divorce and all, but sometimes it’s seen as attention seeking rather than vulnerability. Social media amplifies all these points and reduces him to simple labels like “arrogant” or “out of touch”.

But this doesn’t tell the whole story. Aamir Khan has undoubtedly contributed to the growth of Bollywood, introduced new talent, prioritised strong scripts and set standards for film marketing and production.

He takes responsibility for his failures and supports unconventional films, a side that is often ignored in online debates. While social media thrives on highlighting flaws and inconsistencies, we need to see the bigger picture of Aamir Khan’s impact on Indian cinema.

Judging his entire career based on selective narratives will make us miss the innovation and dedication he brought to the industry.
