After Musical Romance, Can Ahaan Impress in Action?

Ahaan Panday is gearing up for his next big project, an action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film will start shooting in early 2026 and marks a major step forward for Ahaan after his debut in Saiyaara. His first film made him one of the most promising Gen Z actors in Bollywood, and now he is ready to test himself in a new genre.

Ali Abbas Zafar, known for his large-scale yet emotional entertainers, is bringing his signature mix of action and human drama to this project. The film will be shot mostly in England, with the team already planning a recce across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds in December. The idea is to capture real urban settings that will give the movie an authentic, grounded look.

This will be Ahaan’s first full-fledged action role. Sources reveal that he has already begun training in combat and weapon handling. The focus is on keeping the action realistic and emotionally charged rather than flashy. The film aims to create energy through storytelling and performance rather than over-the-top stunts.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is designed to strengthen Ahaan Panday’s big-screen image. The mix of romance, real-world action, and Ali’s experienced direction could help the young actor carve his space in commercial cinema. The full cast and schedule will be announced soon.
