Maatrubhumi Song Backfires: Salman in Trouble?

Salman's Maatrubhumi song faces backlash

Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi is waiting for its big release in the theatres. While a potential date has yet to be announced, the makers have continued to bring new assets to the audience. This time, they have released a new song titled Teri Sexy Beauty.

While the song was supposed to create some hype for the film, it has ended up landing the film and its entire team in trouble. The title of the song has now received criticism from the audience, with most of them questioning how it can be associated with the theme of the film.

Notably, Salman Khan has given his voice to the song along with Muskaan. Additional vocals are by Sajid Khan, who has also contributed to the music and lyrics.

The only thing that has received a little bit of praise is Salman Khan’s appearance alongside Chitrangada Singh. Apart from them, nothing else has impressed the audience, including Salman’s fans, who openly expressed their disappointment with him, with a few also asking the superstar to completely remove the song from the film.

A few others have also asked for a boycott of the film, claiming that the song disrespects the Indian Army. The boycott was also demanded by some supporters of Salman.
Salman’s fans questioned his choice, asking how he approved the track.

A few even recalled the superstar’s chartbuster songs over the years, including Dagabaaz, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, I Love You, Mashallah, Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai, and more. Referring to these tracks, fans asked why Salman is unable to differentiate between what works for his films and what does not.

A particular section also compared the song with the latest release from King, Tu Mil Jaaye, saying that the latter sounds much better and also creates a lot of buzz, despite having resemblances to Besharam Rang from Pathaan. Fans were specifically frustrated with the fact that Salman’s song was released so early in the morning, and it did not provide anything for them to celebrate.

As of now, Salman has maintained silence on the criticism. It can be seen that the fans are not ready to support something that is not up to the mark, and this will lead to the downfall of their favorite superstar. Now it remains to be seen how Salman will handle the situation in the upcoming days.
