According to reports, Kshatriya Parishad has objected to the film’s theme. The organisation said it is unhappy with the makers for using the Chauhan clan name in connection with contemporary communal politics. It argued that the community’s legacy belongs to history and should not be linked to present-day controversies.

The organisation further stated that Rajput culture should not be used without consent in modern public debates. It described the approach as disrespectful and irresponsible. The statement also claimed that heritage should not be used to provoke outrage or deepen social divisions.

The controversy has also drawn attention to a dialogue from the film’s teaser. Ajay Devgn says, “Pathaanon se kehna Chauhaan aa raha hai.” While the line was expected to create patriotic appeal, it has instead sparked widespread debate across social media.

Reactions remain divided. Some people believe the controversy is an attempt to gain attention, which often happens around major film announcements. Others feel it could benefit the film by increasing public curiosity before its release.

At the same time, another section has criticised the makers. They questioned the choice of both the film’s title and its central theme. According to them, filmmakers should be more careful when dealing with subjects connected to history and community identity.

The ongoing debate has also raised speculation about whether the makers may consider changing the title or making modifications if required. Some are also discussing whether the CBFC could recommend changes before release. For now, there is no official update, and the makers are yet to respond.
