Akshay Not Part of Hottest Erotic Sequel?

Akshay Kumar delivered some of his all-time greats during the early 2000s with numerous rom-coms entertaining audiences. Whether it was Garam Masala, Deewaane Hue Pagal, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, or many more cult classics, Akshay had the perfect charm to make these films iconic.

One such film in the list is Akshay’s 2004 starrer Aitraaz where Akshay was a successful businessman having a lovely wife played by Kareena Kapoor. Things took a turn when Priyanka Chopra accused him of sexual harassment.

The film received positive reactions from the crowd during its arrival and is one of the most entertaining Akshay Kumar movies ever. After almost 20 years, the film’s sequel is in the works and Subhash Ghai made some interesting comments regarding the sequel’s cast.

To everyone’s surprise, there might be no Akshay Kumar in the sequel as Ghai wants a new and upcoming generation of actors in the sequel. In a recent interview, he stated the importance of having new and contemporary actors in his next project.

It remains to be seen if even one of the three leads from the first film can make it to the sequel. However, as of now, it remains difficult to imagine Akshay in the film and it might be disappointing for most of his fans. Ghai also talked about making Khal Nayak 2 and how the scripting process is in the works for both films.
