Ranabaali North America Premiere Advance Bookings
Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali is heading into its North American premiere shows without the advance-booking momentum usually expected from a big release. Despite the trailer launch and promotional interviews featuring Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna and director Rahul Sankrityan, pre-sales have reportedly remained slow. The U.S. distributor has now opted to offer all passes from premiere day itself, in a move aimed at attracting more moviegoers.
Several factors could be behind the muted response. Period films have faced their own set of challenges in recent times, while the Ranabaali trailer has apparently failed to generate the level of excitement its makers would have hoped for. The director’s name has also not emerged as a major pull factor in the North American market, and the promotional campaign has yet to translate into strong advance bookings.
However, the slow pre-sales do not settle the film’s box-office prospects. The premiere shows will offer the first real indication of how well Ranabaali connects with audiences. A positive response could help the Vijay Deverakonda starrer build momentum through word of mouth, even if its pre-release buzz has been limited.
