The Communist Party of India, often called Maoists have displayed several pamphlets which read a threatening message to the celebrities for standing on the military side. They alleged that the jawans did not die fighting for the country but to exploit the poor. They blamed the act of Akshay and Saina for providing financial assistance to their rival parties.

Responding to the notices of the Naxals, a senior police official stated that this act of Maoists show their derogatory nature and they are doing this only out of distress, for the celebrities taking the martyr’s side who fought against them.
