Is trouble brewing in the YRF Spy Universe? Reports suggest that not everything is going smoothly for Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film, expected to release by the end of this year, now faces delays and on-set challenges.

According to industry buzz, producer Aditya Chopra is reportedly unhappy with the quality of certain scenes. As a result, a reshoot schedule has been planned under the YRF banner.

However, both Alia and Sharvari are facing date clashes, as they have already committed to other projects. Given that Alpha is YRF’s first major women-led spy film, the makers want to ensure every aspect meets high expectations.

Meanwhile, insiders reveal that Sharvari’s team feels her role might be overshadowed by Alia’s star power. They are reportedly pushing for equal prominence in songs, dialogues, and screen time so that Sharvari’s character does not appear secondary.

Adding to the speculation, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is expected to make a cameo as Pathaan, but scheduling conflicts have limited his availability. There are also rumours that Alia and Bobby are not getting along well on set, affecting their on-screen chemistry though these remain unconfirmed.

After the underwhelming response to War 2, YRF is banking on Alpha for a strong comeback in its Spy Universe. But with ongoing delays and internal tensions, the project’s smooth progress seems uncertain.
