Alia vs Bobby Deol: Audiences to be Blown Away?

International action director and stunt coordinator Craig Macrae recently opened up on his experience of working on Alpha, the upcoming installment of the YRF Spy Universe, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.

Craig has previously worked on big Bollywood films like Pathaan and Jawan, and he said that Alpha is his first Hindi film where two ladies are playing the lead, due to which he had some difficulty planning everything. This was because the film was entirely dependent on both the ladies.

Craig mentioned that actresses spend most of their time in love stories compared to actors like Tiger Shroff, who spend years training themselves in action.

Craig praised Alia and Sharvari for their hard work, saying that they learned everything with dedication and were committed to ensuring that the film is loved by everyone. Craig disclosed that the film has a lot of action sequences, and it will turn out to be a cool movie.

Macrae said that Alia and Sharvari began their training around three months before the action design started. He added that both actresses gave their 100% effort in all the scenes they shot together.

Alpha is said to be one of the biggest films of this year, and it is releasing on December 25, 2025. Yash Raj Films has smartly selected the holiday season so that the film can attract huge crowds.

Bobby Deol is reported to be playing the main villain, and he has already impressed the public in Animal with a similar character in 2023.

But the success will be dependent on how YRF creates the promotional material and whether it will be bigger and better than War 2, another film of the franchise releasing this year.
