Pushpa 2 Hindi: First Real 600 Crore Film?

Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is shattering perceptions as well as records with its phenomenal run at the Box Office.

In a grand sweeping move, the film has managed to garner a net collection of over Rs.620 crores in Hindi alone, giving it the top spot among Hindi films, thus fixing its throne in the elite club.

It has outperformed the already high expectations, with the third-weekend estimates ranging around Rs.53 crores. This comes on top of cemented collections worth Rs.567 crores during its first two weeks, going by trade reports.

Although ‘Stree 2’ had made earlier claims of crossing the 600-cr mark, many trade analysts believe that those numbers were highly inflated, with actual collections ranging from Rs.580-590 crores.

SRK’s Jawan had also succeeded in crossing the mark, with net collections of Rs.643 crores, but that was with the Telugu and Tamil versions combined.

So this makes Pushpa 2 the first actual film to cross the 600-crore mark in Hindi alone, making and shattering records all around!

Fans are now hoping earnestly for the film to cross 700 crores, which although tough, is not impossible if the film manages to encash the holiday season from Christmas to the New Year.
