Alpha Finds Its OTT Home After Theatrical Run

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha arrives on Netflix

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha is now heading to OTT. The spy thriller is set to start streaming on Netflix from August 28, giving audiences another chance to watch the film from home.

The film, which is part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, brought Alia and Sharvari together as agents and marked a different outing for both actresses. The theatrical run has now made way for its digital release.

Alpha is also notable for putting two female leads at the centre of a large-scale action spy story. Alia plays one of the key agents, while Sharvari has a prominent role alongside her.

The Netflix release comes at a time when audiences are increasingly looking forward to big theatrical films arriving on OTT. For those who missed Alpha in cinemas, the August 28 streaming date offers a chance to catch the action thriller from home.

The film’s arrival on Netflix also keeps the YRF spy universe moving on the digital front, as more audiences get access to its latest chapter.
