R Madhavan is undoubtedly one of the finest actors in Indian cinema and has given several masterpieces over the years.
Being intellectual and smart in real life, it would be difficult to fool the renowned actor. However, in an embarrassing incident, the actor was fooled by AI.
During a recent interview, Madhavan stated how he encountered a reel where footballer Cristiano Ronaldo praised Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
The video was generated by AI and was fake but R Madhavan thought the video to be real and even forwarded it on his Instagram.
The truth was revealed to him by none other than Anushka Sharma. The cricketer’s wife told her that the video was fake and fraud.
Madhavan stated how he was embarrassed by the situation and further stated how AI can fool someone intellectual like him.
As AI and new technologies generate several fake videos, it is becoming difficult for the users to recognize real and reel.
