Monday BMS Test: How Are Ranabaali, Jailer 2 Doing?

Jailer 2 vs Ranabaali Monday Ticket Sales

Last weekend was busy at the Telugu box office, with the dubbed film Jailer 2 and the Telugu film Ranabaali arriving in theatres. Both films have completed their opening weekend and are now facing the crucial first Monday test.

BookMyShow’s hourly ticket sales offer an indication of audience interest on the first Monday. However, these figures provide only a snapshot of booking trends and do not represent the films’ total box office collections.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is leading the current trend, benefiting from reasonably positive reviews and its commercial appeal. The film is reportedly selling around 33,000 tickets per hour on BookMyShow on its first Monday, indicating strong demand.

Vijay’s Ranabaali follows with around 5,000 tickets being sold per hour, according to the reported figures. Considering the mixed response the film received during its opening days, its Monday booking trend suggests that it is continuing to attract audiences at the ticket counters.

Vijay and Rashmika have continued promoting the film after its release. Meanwhile, a stronger background score could have enhanced the overall cinematic experience and potentially added to the film’s appeal.

The Dasara holiday season could provide an advantage for both films, with the festival period offering an opportunity to attract more viewers. Their box office performance will depend on how well they sustain audience interest and convert it into ticket sales over the coming days.
